Ukraine Day

August 24th, 1991 marked a turning point in history as Ukraine declared its independence from the Soviet Union.  Since then, the country has been writing its own chapter that is defined by resilience, heritage, and a powerful sense of self.

Ukraine’s fields of gold, folk songs, and fierce pride are more than symbols, they are lifelines that have carried the nation through adversity.  Independence Day is both solemn and celebratory, a reminder of how dearly freedom is held and how fiercely it must be protected.  This day reminds us all that independence is not only a political achievement, it is a human right, fought for with love, courage, and unyielding belief in tomorrow.
